INDOLIN.ID | JAKARTA — Thousands of people who are members of the Indonesian Coalition to Defend Baitul Maqdis (KIBBM) surrounded the United States (US) Embassy Building, in Jakarta, on Saturday (1/6).
The action, called All Eyes on Rafah, was held as a form of KIBBM protest against the brutality of the Israeli military which attacked the only refuge for Gazans, Rafah City, recently.
The Chief Executive of the All Eyes on Rafah Action, Ustadz Bachtiar Nasir, said that the majority of Indonesian people were angry about the genocide committed by Israel in Rafah.
"This is an expression of our disappointment. We are angry about the massacre carried out by Israel. It would be wrong if we were not angry," said Bachtiar.
According to Bachtiar, the action was deliberately held at the US Embassy because that country was considered to be the mastermind behind the massacre carried out by Israel.
"Because America's All Eyes on Rafah happened, if the US had acted there would not have been the action of burning babies, beheading babies carried out by the Zionists," he said.
Based on observations at the location, the crowd prayed together, read the Koran, sang the song

"Boycott? until it goes bankrupt!" continued the demonstrator.
During the action, there were a number of artists and politicians present, including Mardani Ali Sera from PKS, to Kartika Putro and Dara Arafah.
